IGLU wetsuits specialise in kids wetsuits and are the first company to create thicker steamers for age 2 upwards – these wetsuits can be worn all year round. They are designed to be easy to use, to put on and remove and are robust and comfy. The company is based in Cornwall, where these amazing suits are also made.
As the business is all about kids wetsuits, we wanted to make sure the commerical photography reflected the brand’s lifestyle. A fun and active photo shoot took place in Perranporth (a beach local to Iglu and to us in Cornwall), showcasing the wetsuits in and out of the water, and their brilliant fit.
The full web design allows the Iglu brand to be the focal point by using it’s own colours on the home page. The commercial photography compliments this very well as a background for each page in addition to featuring in a gallery. The web design incorporates easy to find and very important technical information, illustrating Iglu’s unique selling points. The website also features informative videos about the wetsuit technology. Finally, there is going to be some further work completed early in 2016 to add an e commerce section, which we’re really excited about!
We were extremely happy to be approached by another business here in Cornwall, and we’re really proud of the work we’ve achieved with Iglu so far.
Linda wanted a website that reflects it’s breezy, modern coastal feel and at Sharkfin Media here in Cornwall, we listened to her needs in great detail to ensure this was captured in the webdesign. We incorporated the colour turquoise as it has cool and calming attributes, and most importantly it represents water.
Essential to the website and marketing of the property is the commercial photography, provided by LightBOX Photographic’s photographer, Dan. He completed a site visit and worked with the owners to capture a portfolio that accurately reflects the high quality and considered renovation of the property. There is a separate gallery section incorporated into the webdesign to ensure visitors can easily access the crucial images – this is, after all, how many people choose their accommodation. We also ensured that the website has a page to advertise prices and availability – again, this is essential to the selection of a holiday rental property for any potential customer.
Linda’s very satisfied with the end result and so are we! We’re really happy to connect with another local business here in Cornwall.
Sandy is a medium and psychic artist, and she approached Sharkfin Media with a request to help design a new website for her. As she is also local to Cornwall, we were able to start her consultation process with a face to face meeting. Ensuring we have the best contact with our clients is of paramount importance – this also includes communication by telephone and e mail, ensuring we respond as quickly as possible and maintain an open and honest relationship. Sandy was very clear about what she wanted for her new website and we were very happy to help. Sandy is very passionate about her work and we feel that the choice of colours used in her web design help to reflect this. Turqoise has many meanings but for this website it was important to use it to show calm, spiritual grounding, creativity, energy and wisdom. White is associated with light, wholeness and safety.
Dan, our photographer, has his own studio within the Sharkfin offices in Cornwall. Sandy worked with Dan to create some stunning portraits in the studio and these are now on her website. They serve as an introduction to her, reflecting her as a professional yet warm and welcoming person.
A very important part of the website for Sandy is to ensure information about her events is easy to find. She has a built in feature to allow people to view her event calendar and purchase tickets. She also has a shop where people can purchase her book and DVD, plus a facility to book a telephone appointment with her. This helps her to offer a flexible approach to her work and also acts as additional marketing. We’re very pleased with her website, which you can view here – we hope you will enjoy viewing it.
