A well designed and structured website is only as good as the images it uses. Regardless of your business sector, great photography is key to the success of your website. You only get one chance to impress a potential client and the inclusion of high quality, professional photography is crucial.

As we have in house commercial photographers, we are able to include this service in our standard web design package at no extra cost to our clients. We are currently building a new website for a puppet maker and have been photographing his puppets in our dedicated professional photographic studio here in Truro, Cornwall.

Macro Photography

These puppets are hand-made and stand around 18 inches tall. Each puppet is photographed from different angles showing detail and features as well as an overall shot. This is standard for product photography and our dedicated photographic studio in Truro, Cornwall is setup perfectly for photography of this type. With the correct equipment and high quality macro lenses, we are able to show extremely fine detail and with careful lighting the final images look incredible.

The images are then selected, processed and resized for inclusion in the website and also given to the client on CDROM for their own stock library. We aim to give our clients as much as possible without them incurring extra charges. They can then be used in advertising campaigns, magazine adverts, newspapers, posters etc. with the overall effect of enhancing the client’s product and business. It’s not inconceivable that commissioning a commercial photographer would cost more than the entire web design and photography package offered by Sharkfin Media.

Not only are products photographed in Sharkfin Media’s photographic studio but we will also travel to our client’s premises to photograph their product on site. This is particularly useful for businesses such as restaurants where plates of food can be made up and tables laid up ready for our photographer to capture. Our photographers travel all over Cornwall to photograph our client’s products.
